He then completed his pediatric residency training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, from 2003-2005, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, from 2005-2006.Afterward, Dr. Stahl completed his pediatric and adult allergy/immunology fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio in 2011. He served for 11 years as an active-duty member of the United States Air Force and as academic faculty for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Stahl has also held academic appointments at Wright State University, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and Baylor College of Medicine. He previously was the Allergy Clinic Director at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio for five years.Dr. Stahl is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. To stay current with the latest developments in his field, he maintains professional memberships with the Texas Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society; San Antonio Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society; Texas Medical Association; Bexar County Medical Society; American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; and American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.Additionally, Dr. Stahl has contributed to works published in national, peer-reviewed publications, including the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology(JACI): In Practice. He has also served as a sub-investigator in numerous research studies.At Apex Allergy and Asthma, Dr. Stahl and his team diagnose and treat allergy-related issues like eczema and angioedema using blood tests, skin patch testing, and other minimally invasive allergy tests.
