General Info
Dr. Voskanian sees patients in La Jolla and Encinitas. Call 844.377.7678 to schedule an appointment. Dr. Voskanian joined the UC San Diego Orthopaedic Department after completing her fellowship training at UCLA in primary care sports medicine. While at UCLA, she was team physician for the UCLA sports teams, including men's football, women's tennis, men's soccer, women's rowing, and men's volleyball teams. She was also team physician for El Segundo High School during 2008-2009 when she took care of their frosh, JV and varsity football teams. She is currently a team physician for the San Diego Sea Lions women's professional soccer team, and was medical director of the San Diego TriRock Triathlon for the last three years. Dr. Voskanian has also provided medical coverage for multiple sports events in the community, including the 2014 BMX World Championships in Chula Vista, World Ice Skating Championships 2009, San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, Mt. Sac Track and Field Relays, and Oceanside Ironman. She has a special interest in sports medicine teaching and has written educational articles and presented at several national sports medicine meetings. Dr. Voskanian manages sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal problems (i.e., runner's knee, rotator cuff tendinitis, etc.). Her primary goal is to maximize the potential of patients so they can return to their sports activities and maintain their active lifestyles. Dr. Voskanian played high school tennis, volleyball, and basketball.
