      Taraneh Paravar, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who cares for all patients in the general dermatology clinic and also focuses on complex medical dermatology. This includes treating patitents with autoimmune blistering disorders, graft-versus-host disease of the skin, dermatologic complications of cancer therapy, and rheumatologic diseases of the skin such as cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, morphea, and cutaneous vasculitis.As an associate professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Paravar is dedicated to medical education. She serves as director of the dermatology residency program, training the next generation of dermatologists.Dr. Paravar completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Texas at Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and earned her medical degree at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine.
