      Altex Technologies Corporation was founded in 1985 to pursue the development of novel fuels processing, combustion and power systems technologies, including fuel cells, direct energy converters and gas turbines. Located at Sunnyvale, Calif., the company serves clients in government, commercial, institutional and academic sectors. It provides analysis and experimental tools for the development and testing of new fuels processing, low-emission burners, mobile power systems and biomass-based fuels production. Altex Technologies Corporation also offers fully instrumented test facilities covering capacities from 20 watts to 600 kilowatts which are complemented by chemical kinetic, chemical equilibrium, fuel transformation, combustion, flow, heat transfer and pollution formation models.
