History of Lighthouse Academy Lighthouse Academy is originated from Busy Moms Child Service, a home based child service center started from 2008, then we expanded to The Point Church facility due to higher demand and our capacity limit. The new facility based school will allow us to serve wider community and provide better richer programs to satisfy all parents' need. Description of Program Our afterschool program is designed to encourage students to do the best and be the best they can. We offer a well-rounded program that includes: small group and individualized homework assistance, Chinese language classes (???)and physical fitness and sports activities. Our program also offers hands-on group and individual projects, such as: art, music, science, community service, and leadership. These activities and classes are included in the tuition fee. We provide daily healthy snack to each student. In addition to our regular program offerings, we also provide opportunities for extra-cirricula activities for additional fee. The extra cirricula may include piano lessons, chess, dancing, math master, specialized sports and many more depending on parents feedback. We also provide pick-up service from local schools for additional fee. Philosophy and Core Values At Lighthouse Academy, we truly care about your child as an individual. Our staff are caring, responsible, positive role models who are trained in youth development principles.
