- Dental CareJust like humans, our four-legged fur friends require preventative dental care, and our veterinarians will make sure they get it. At Acacia Pet Clinic, we treat patients and their beloved pets just like our own family.
- VaccinationPuppies and kittens have a natural immunity from their mother’s milk, but this immunity wears off over time. Weaned puppies and kittens need vaccinations to bolster the immune system and prevent illness in the coming years.
- Behavioral CounselingSpay and neuter reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens who are born—many of whom are sadly end up at shelters. Spay and neuter can also reduce the risk of certain health conditions and behavioral problems.
- Nutritional CounselingOur veterinarian will also want to know about your pet’s daily behavior, including their diet, how much water they drink, and their exercise routine. It is highly recommended to come to your wellness check with a list of symptoms, questions, concerns, etc., so you don’t forget.
- Comprehensive ExaminationAn annual wellness exam is just as important for your pet as it is for you! It’s important to make annual visits into a routine, rather than waiting until your pet isn’t feeling well. We do our best to keep visits affordable and are always able to work around your busy schedule.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlDepending on where you live, your pet’s lifestyle and age, our veterinarian may also ask questions to determine your pet’s risk of fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites. The doctor will then prescribe an individualized treatment or preventive plan to address these issues.
