Generally when I go to this Toys R Us, I can find mostly what I need on my own. When I needed someone to help me locate something, it was hard to find anyone on the floor. On Monday night, I went to the store looking for a toy slide for toddlers, the first person I talked to didn't know where to find the toy, she asked someone at the customer service center, no luck. Then a lady walked by, said she'd help me. She looked in the computer, said they have one left in stock on the floor(whatever that means to me), and that she'll go look for it. She asked me to stay where I was so she could go look. 5 minutes later, she walked by, said she was still looking for it. 10 minutes go by, she was chatting with some other associates in the store. 20 minutes later, I had to track her down, looked her in the eyes and asked her if she found it, she looked annoyed and said no, she didn't find it. I would appreciate if she could tell me that at first, not 30 minutes later.

I've had bad experiences with the sales associates there, their employees are generally not interested or do not have the knowledge to help the customers. I bought a winnie the pooh rider toy a while back, and paid for their buyer protection plan. When I took it home, I thought it was broken, so I took it in for a replacement. And then I saw that my child was not interested in the toy, so I took it to the Toys R Us on Monterey Hwy to return it. When the lady took it, she only refunded me the toy part, not the protection plan, she said that part is not refundable. I was curious, I asked how come we can return the toy and not the plan, since it's useless without the toy now...she looked at me like I was stupid, sighed, and then went back to her computer and refunded the protection plan. It was like pulling teeth for her. I didn't go back to that store for a long time.
