It is an over 280-bed facility that provides comprehensive health care services fro individuals and families. The hospital oversees a staff of nearly 2,000 employees. Western Medical Center - Santa Ana is licensed by the state of California and is approved for the acceptance of Medicare patients. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. It maintains a 24-hour emergency department that provides treatment for fever, fractures, lacerations, strokes, seizures, burns, and chest and abdominal pain. Western Medical Center - Santa Ana is designated by Orange County as a Level II Trauma Center. It is a part of the Orange County Regional Trauma Network.
