      Shopped @ this store many times while in college or in between broker consultations with Mr. Frank Dawson of Paine Weber. Glad to see that Mr. Gillio is still at it. I look forward to revisiting the store soon. Must have bought something special for my then "GF" way back in 1985.... Today would have been her 51st birthday>> J.       Founded in 1961, Ronald J. In 1996, Mr. Gillio found, negotiated and purchased the largest hoard of high quality U.S. $20 gold coins in numismatic history. Ronald J. Gillio is a member of the two most prestigious professional numismatic organizations in the world, each with stringent membership requirements and strict codes of ethics. Ronald J. Gillio has been a member of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets ( ICTA ), lobbying in Sacramento, for the now in place, 14-day Nexus currently in effect for out-of-state dealers. For many years, Ron Gillio served as Treasurer of PNG until becoming Vice President in 1989. He served as President for the 1991-1993 term. Gillio has been acknowledged for his contributions to the most important numismatic references: Guide Book of United States Coins ( the "Red Book" ), Standard Catalog of World Coins, Official ANA Grading Standards for United States Coins, and the Coin World Almanac.
