This place is a nightmare. They clearly are so proud of themselves that they feel customer service and humane treatment of people is not necessary. I moved here seven months ago from the east coast and after noticing how busy the street the restaurant is located on (LINCOLN) is I decided that I would turn at the light and enter the business parking lot from the back instead of hold up traffic going the opposite direction. I parked my car in the lot and was entering the deli already when a parking attendant notified me that I had pulled into the parking lot the wrong way. I apologized and explained that I truly did not realize that (side note: there were at least 7 empty spots in the parking lot still, so it wasn't like I cut anyone off at all) entry via the alley was not allowed. He told me I had to go back out and turn around and come back in or talk to the manager. The manager was extremely rude and sarcastic despite my continued apology for an honest mistake.I will never go back.

What a wonderful place. The location of this place is amazing because it is just a drive away from my place. I can always buy some fresh veggie sandwich here.

Bay Cities is a local gem. The lines for sandwiches can be long, but you will not find comparable sandwiches anywhere else on the west side. My favorite is the Godmother, a combination of Italian meats, cheese and toppings on crusty bread. Their selection of gourmet and ethnic grocery items, especially cheese and olives, is top-notch.
