8-26-09 I recently rented a car from Smith's and was very pleased and grateful for their customer service and their pricing. They have better prices than any other rental car that I could find in the area. They picked me up at the airport and took me back when I returned. The car operated well during the entire trip. It's hard to compete with other huge, chain rental companies and I greatly respect the small business owner and their courage and integrity in working so hard and in contributing to our economy. I particularly like to support American small business and I'm grateful for those who are "hanging in there." This is a good place to rent a car! Jenny, Seattle, WA

Worst Car Rental place I have ever used. I rent cars frequently because I travel a lot to see family. The we rented had no gas in it whatsoever and it was very smelly they told us the smell would be gone by morning. When we returned it the very next day they refused us a refund for their smelly van.

We wanted to rent a minivan for the memorial weekend. I called and reserved and double checked that we could rent daily due to the holiday - the salesperson said no problem. When we got there the only van they had to rent was the owners wife's van. It was the filthiest vehicle I have ever rented. The counter person told us the smell would be gone by morning. In the morning it stilled smelled even after I tried fabreez and lysol - nothing worked - I would not put my luggage in the Van. We took the Van back the next day to get our money back and they refused to give us back any money. They also sent us off in this Van with no gas - I filled the gas tank another $68.75 on top of the $193.00 for three day rental - they refused us any refund whatsoever. I would never recommend this nightmare of an outfit to anyone.
