Haze does not do well boarding, she is very nervous and does not trust a lot of people so I was nervous leaving her. She did great there. She ate good, played with a few other dogs and loved the owners. When we picked her up she was so happy and was running over to say bye while wagging her tail with delight.....I think she was saying "see you next time".

Each time we use them seems to be a better and better experience! Our dogs come home healthy, happy and well groomed. I take my dogs there for grooming, Rich and Kim are the most caring individuals I have ever met. I wiould and do recommend Happy Dog Pet Motel to anyone. You know your pet is in good hands. The facility is always clean and you arae greeted by very friendly people.

I brought my two Standard Poodles to the Happy Dog Pet Hotel over the Winter school break(February 2012) for a week. Upon my return I found the dogs to be clean, happy and very comfortable with the owners, Rich & Kim. Will definitly be taking the dogs back when we vacation again. Thank you R&K..Great Job ! ! !

I would highly recommend Happy Dog Pet Hotel to everyone who is unsure about leaving their dog/s or cat/s while away. For a day- week or longer, the care they receive is just like the care they recieve at home. This was my first time leaving my 3 shelties in 6 yrs. In the past they were left with a family member in our home. Since I was unsure one of the owners(Kim) suggested day care which I did a few times before the week I wanted to board.It was great and set my mind at ease. Also since grooming was availabe my shelties were groomed twice. The name says it all.......Happy Dog Pet Hotel. Without a doubt I will go back for grooming,daycare or overnight boarding. Kim and Rich (owners) are the best!!

I boarded my 4 year old Cockapoo "Buddy" over the Christmas Holiday. After a weeks stay and a full groom by Rich (the owner) "Buddy" came home happy and fresh with the best groom he's ever had! Best care at the best rate...I found it to be more than a slogan. Rich and Kim the owners are AWESOME!

I recently boarded my dog "max" at The Happy Dog Pet Hotel. When I returned to pick him up 9 days he was heathy, happy, clean and fresh (from his free bath). The owners are obviously "True animal lovers". Great care with the most reasonable rates in The Capital Area!

I'm usually very nervous where I bring my 11yr old Lab for grooming because she suffers from seperation anxiety. Kim and Rich were absolutely wonderful, warm and caring towards myself and my dog. I returned after an hour, and she was completely bathed and had her nails trimmed, plus she was so happy! I noticed she was completely at ease when I walked in the hour, she wasn't pulling me to leave at all. Kim and Rich treat each animal as if they were their own! They are wonderful people, and I feel totally at ease leaving my dog with them. Kudos to The Happy Dog!R. RichmondSchdy, NY

The Happy Dog Pet Hotel is the most reasonably priced pet boarding facility in the area! I found the owners Rich and Kim to "authentic" pet lovers who took such god care of our dogs over this past weekend! The dogs were brite eyed, happy and smelled great when they came home. 8/8/09

Hi,Just gotta tell you our Buddy and Gracie beagles spent several days with at the Happy Dog Pet Hotel. They indeed came home very happy and well adjusted. We can tell they were loved and very well taken care of.Thank you. This is by far the best boarding and grooming place I have found. They treat every animal as if it were their own. The owners, Wendy & Ron, are the best!! It doesn't matter what type of pet you have.....they're willing to board them. My dog is a regular when I need to travel.....I have also had to board my bird and a fish when I couldn't find anyone to take them. The staff had no problem at all in taking them for me. The bird and fish received excellent care. The dogs are taken outside to play on the obstacle course every day. The runs are clean, dry, and warm and have an outside area for each one.Sometimes I think my dog prefers being at Emerald Acres than he does at home!!
