Provided by DexKnows6/22/2010 I have absolutely no idea what the last reviewer is talking about! I am an avid long time collector of Asian antiques, and have done business with many shops in many cities and in several countries. I've purchased some great pieces in Chidori Antiques, and the owner, Daniel Stalcup, is one of my all-time favorite dealers. He is everything I look for in an antiques dealer - honest, knowledgeable, friendly, negotiable, fair, and not at all pushy at any time. His prices are quite reasonable for the high quality pieces that he has in the shop. When he doesn't know something about a piece, he freely admits it, and then finds a way to try to get whatever info is requested or needed. Just looking around the shop tells you what a great eye he has for assembling so many stunning pieces from so many diverse cultures. This is a beautifully presented selection of fascinating olde-tyme curios in an updated, totally pleasing atmosphere. What more could any collector ask for?
