General Info
We are a family of stone masons that worked in Massachusetts and Connecticut form 1985-1997. We moved to Minnesota in 1997 and have brought new styles and stone looks to the Twin Cities area. With English Stone LLC you have two generations of stone mason perfection at your service.

Joel was very quick in coming and providing estimate. He got the job scheduled quicker than he originally thought and his crew completed the two fireplaces in a week. Kris and Chris were, on time and very professional throughout the project. They cleaned up at the end of the job and other than the dust (can't be helped when you work with stone) they left my home very clean. I am extremely happy with the finished fireplaces as I was so tired of the original blah 1979 Chicago brick. The blue stone hearth is magnificent as well. Overall, I would recommend Joel and his crew to anyone interested in stone work. They are true masonry artists.

Joel Forsberg of English Stone designed and built a beautiful paver terrace for us that we have enjoyed all summer. To start, Joel brought over different samples and helped us choose the right color mix to integrate with existing stone we already had. He and his brother worked carefully and efficiently to finish the large terrace in about 4 days. Especially impressive is how Joel designed an underground system of piping with a tank that finally solved the drainage problems we've had for many years. When the first solution wasn't completely effective, he came back immediately and improved on it free of charge. It now works perfectly, and this was our first summer with no water in the basement. Joel is an expert craftsman with a good grasp of engineering, and a very nice guy to work with. Kate and Greg, St. Louis Park, MN
