Isaac and his team are amazing! I go to him with some older BMW models and is always honest and fair in his pricing. John is always pleasant too. I have take American cars to him also with no problem and pretty much can fix anything! Highly recommended. Busy shop and they always find time to fit me in.

AutoLock helped me when I needed help!

It was 4:30AM, I was scheduled to leave the country on business. while loading the car I had locked my keys in the trunk! I hadn't needed a locksmith EVER so I called a few places and got recordings and business hours till my wife called Ronald at AutoLock from this YelloPages website. He was obviously sleeping when he got our call, however thirty-five minutes later I was on my way to the airport catching my flight on time!

This trip was so important that I actually considered breaking the car window! Ronald showed up in what seemed like 5 minutes and the car was opened in seconds!

Autolock of Shelby is a RIP OFF company

Customers be aware of this company and its owner name RONALD.

I called this guy for a locksmith service I had just bout a new home n Shelby and I waned him to drill 2 holes for a deadbolt lock one in the front door and another in the side door. So he told me he will charge me $55.00 trip fee and $45.00 for each door.

He also tried to sell me 2 deadbolt locks for $35.00 each and charge me $30.00 to match the keys to the doorknobs on both doors. But I told him that I can get the deadbolts form home depot for a lot less so he is like ok then I will just drill the standard holes.

So he shows up on time at my house and drilled 2 holes. After he left I went to home depot and got a set of 2 doorknobs and 2 deadbolts for ONLY $24.99. I came home and tried to install them and I found out that this guy (Ronald) did not drill the correct size holes! He drilled smaller holes so I called him and told him he told me that he did drill standard commercial deadbolt holes. I told him but you did not drill them in a commercial building door you drilled them in a house door why will you drill commercial holes in a residential door???

So again he try to sell me some deadbolts but I refused to buy from him. And I wend to home depot to exchange the set of deadbolts with one that will fit the hole that he drilled when I got there the guy at the home depot told me the that no hardware store sells this size of deadbolts only locksmith companies sell them because they are made for commercial building doors. And home depot sells many brands and they are all one size, which is the North American standard size for all doors.

So I called this RONALD dude again and told him that this is what home depot told me. His answer was:

I dont understand why you dont want to buy them from me. You know home depot sell cheep stuff but my deadbolts are allot better.

You have a nice big house and you dont what to spend some money on deadbolts.

So I told him just because I have a big house that dont mean I will spend money that I dont need to spend.

He replays so why didnt you have the deadbolts at your home when I did the job why did you buy them after?

I told him I did not have to because I know that they are standard stuff NOT custom. And I told you before you drilled the holes that I am going to buy them from home depot and this is your job and this is what you do for living so you must know that what home depot sell. And you must know what is the standard size hole for a house door is.

So he told me OK I will come back and make the holes bigger. And he gives me an appointment and never show up. I called him and he gives me another appointment. Also didnt show up

5 appointments this RONALD guy schedules for me and did not show up.

So all I did was called a deferent company and had them do the job for me and played for it again

So this RONALD guy he did that on purpose he drilled smaller holes just to force me to buy deadbolts from him. He figured this guy got BIG MONEY he can afford to spend $100.00 but what he dont know that guys that have BIG MONEY are not stupid.

What a great story Sal! When this customer requested I drill the (2) holes for "A Deadbolt" I advised SAL (the customer)that It would be in his best interest if he had the hardware (Deadbolts and knobs) he wanted to use on the worksite from where ever he wanted to buy them. Unfortuneatly, Sal is not fluent in the English language and he did not have the locks at the house. I arrived on-time for our first appointment, and again advised the customer against drilling without knowing what was to be installed. He didn't care because after all Sal Saiid "a locks a lock I'll get it from Home Despot for 20 bux!" I used the template from a Schlage BC160 single cylinder deadbolt, an excellent Grade2 Residential Product. I even installed MY OWN BC160 deadlock in the hole I drilled in order to assure It would fit properly and be easy for the (Any)customer to re-install HIS locks.(It did). As it played out, SAL incorrectly Bought "Defiant" brand doorknob and deadbolt blister pak. an extreamly inexpensive, lowest wrung piece of stock hardware. I discussed this issue with my LSA/ALOA brethren and my wife. I returnd to Sal's home whereas, by not having his defiant hardware fit my standard door preps. I think sal felt I was trying to "force him into buying my hardware." Though I could have used the five dollars I would have earned off the sale of the hardware, I earn my living through Locksmith Services not necessarily hardware sales. (I offered to price match HD,) I also believe Sal didn't understand my American vernacular or locksmith nomeclature, Because, In order to do right by MY customer(s), I offered him: 2 Schlage BC160s & 2 A-Series Schlage lever handle door knobs. plus "keying, plus installation 100% Free Of Charge, no cost to Sal. FREE OF CHARGE! Because at AutoLock customer satisfaction is MY #1 priority! Imagine my surprise when he refused my offer!!! I'm not sure whom Sal called but it wasn't any LSA (Locksmith Security Association) member. As for the rest of his fable, well, It simpley didn't happen. Still, I do wish Sal well. Oh, And Sal, though it was a riviting piece of fiction, creative writing isn't your strong suit "Buddy!" God Bless YOU "Dude"! Sincerely I am, Ronald - The Locksmith AutoLockOfShelby.com
