      GastroIntestinal Specialists provides treatment for diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver and pancreas. Its areas of expertise include internal medicine, colon cancer screening, endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. It provides diagnosis and treatment for digestive disorders, including acid reflux, ulcers, gastritis, gallstones, swallowing difficulties, colitis, cancer, and bowel syndrome and polyps. Its endoscopy center is approved by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. The center also has partnerships with Louisiana Research Center that undertakes clinical research activities and medical studies.
