The Siouxland Medical Education Foundation was established in 1975 as a result of the cooperative efforts of the local hospitals and physicians. The foundation is known to many as the Family Practice Center and is located conveniently in Sioux City, IA. The foundation sponsors a three-year family practice residency program and a one year pharmacy residency program, both of which are affiliated with the University of Iowa. The primary care teaching services of the center include but are not limited to: Primary Health Care Laboratory X-Ray Diabetic education Emergency Obstetrics Trauma care Sports medicine Geriatrics Counseling services We provide 24 exams rooms and up to date technology that offers advanced diagnosis and treatment for all ages.
