An absolute nightmare! Installers recommended by Douglas were so bad that they were off by almost an inch when installing base cabinets. When the stone counter top was put on they tried to get away with shimming it from the top rather than the bottom. The stone was not even due to incorrect cabinet installation. We had to pay to have the plumber come back to take out the plumbing so the stone counter could be removed in order to have the unskilled installers come back to fix their mess. When the counter was removed, a level on each cabinet showed that they were not even close to being level. The cabinets were also not all in the same plane in order for the counter top to be installed flat and correctly. The buffoons then came back and worked for another 4 hours and claimed that everything was level. They did not fix the problem. A friend and I had to sand down high spots and shim up one cabinet 1/4 inch to fix the mess. Douglas would not reimburse us for plumber per our request.
