I am a dance teacher but no at June Claire. I work in the city. I've dance all my life, I have a minor in dance and I studied at a performing arts dance high school and trained with some dancers that have moved on to be professionals in real world dance companies. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else on Long Island. Most studios focus on teaching tricks and gimicks for competition. June Claire is one of the few tecnique based studios left. I've sit through so many recitals on Long I lasnd and it's all the same. Leg lifts and Acro are not dance. June Claire is very professional and in my opinion one of the best studios in NY.
