I was in Dorset Street Dermatology a month ago and the Dr. put filler under my eyes. I signed the consent form and I knew what I was doing, I made the conscious choice to take the risk and get the work done. At the time, Dr. Schwarz informs me of the risks and the fact that, should the treatment not work properly, there is a product that can be used to dissolve it. I let Dr. Schwarz know then that I would be leaving town within a week, and he told me that I needed to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the swelling to go down in order to determine whether or not the product had worked. After a month of shedding tears and feeling terrible about myself � it became obvious that the lumps under my eyes were not going to go away. Because I am no longer in Vermont I had to go to a dermatologist in Connecticut in order to get the product dissolved. I spent $500 getting the filler under my eyes and another $400 getting it dissolved. I called Dorset Street dermatology to try and get reimbursement for the $500 that I originally spent on the filler. I do not believe that this was an unreasonable request, I was not asking for the $400 that I used to get it dissolved, just trying to offset my $900 mistake by recouping my original $500 investment. After two days of calling them and four different phone conversations with them I was informed that they were unwilling to offer me a refund. They let me know that if I had been in Vermont they would have dissolved the filler for free , but would never have offered me a refund on my original $500 payment. I believe that I should have received my $500 back � to me that is just good customer service. Up until this moment - I liked Dr. Schwarz. We all make mistakes sometimes and I would never have written this nor spoken badly of him, but the fact that I have been shown no compassion regarding this experience leaves the worst taste in my mouth and I can honestly say this is been one of the biggest regrets of my life. Lastly, when I spoke with them regarding this they informed me that the product itself cost almost $500 � upon researching this I discovered that anyone can buy 1 mL of restalyne for $147 online, and I received .5ml.... From a Dr.... To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

I highly recommend Dorset Street Dermatology because every visit that my husband and I have ever had there has been totally positive and pleasant.I feel total confidence in Dr Schwartz and his wonderful staff. I personally have never felt rushed at an appointment and all my issues have always been carefully addressed by Dr Schwartz and his assistants in person or on the phone.. If there is something I do not quite understand I feel comfortable in asking for clarification. I always receive the answers I need. Hey, just wanted to let Dr. Schwartz that I love the results of Xeomin. He wanted feedback on the results. I actually like it better than Botox (which I had once before). Dr. Schwartz, You should be giving your staff a huge pat on the back because you must be so lucky to have so many wonderful people working for you. When I initially called to schedule an appointment, the woman I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful; your office staff was great to deal with; and then most recently I called with an insurance question, and again the woman I spoke with was so pleasant to deal with. I had 5 laser hair removal sessions for my upper lip. For the first time in my adult life I no longer have to wax, shave, tweeze, or worry about having an embarrassing problem on my face. Before going to Dorset Street Dermatology, I had shopped around for the best price. Dorset Street Dermatology had the best price and Andrea Boudreau has a lot of experience with the laser. I am now considering doing laser hair removal treatments for my legs.

Erin is an advanced massage therapist at Dorset Street Dermatology. I am 43 and a former college middle distance track athlete. Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with a large (benign) tumor in and around the sciatic nerve of my right leg. After two major surgeries, I suffered from significant ITB tightness, knee weakness and I was not able to be as active as I wished. Acupuncture provided some relief, but I found it painful and the relief very temporary. I tried some body work with Erin about 9 months ago and the results have been extraordinary.
