The food was really good but the service was not the best. had to wait forever to get a waitress and our order taken and had to wait a long time to get our bill to go. We ordered Mike's pizza, which was real good, but asked for mushrooms on half of the pizza. Well that did not happen, mushrooms were all over that pizza. The waitress made no attempt to fix the problem. Other restaurants that I've been to and have had a problem with the food have either taken the price off the bill or offered to make it again. We were real disappointed when we were picking mushrooms off the pizza. We live in south lyon and will never go back there again.

The quality of food is always important, but I hold service as my number one priority & the Lyon Grille provides excellent service with a welcoming atmosphere that cannot be matched elsewhere! They also offer very good food with a good variety, including all homemade soups. One of my favorites which is unique to this restaurant is the "Traverse City Pasta". Owners have done an excellent job with this restaurant & we always look forward to going there.

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner the other night. It was the best meal and service I have ever had. All of the staff were extremely polite and friendly. I had the Old Fashion pasta with meat sauce. My boyfriend got the New York Strip on special. The food was great! They have a bunch of sweethearts for waitresses. The owner is such a nice woman. She sent over drinks and a dessert on her!! Can you believe it? An owner sending free drinks and desserts to their customers? That's unheard of! I will definitely be back! It was a great experience!

I do like their food. I was a little annoyed when we asked the waitress to recommend a good drink, something new. Well, it was good but it was a 9 $ drink. Way to build up your check lady! I learned a lesson, never ask them to recommend a drink.

We had dinner at Lyon grill tonight what a great dinner experience my pasta dinner was out of this world, my husband had fish it was perfect and really good. He is real fussy about his food and he smiled the whole night. WOW was that great he kept saying over and over we are coming back!!!! Everyone was so nice they made sure we had what we needed and i used the restroom it was spotless. I know i care about those kind of things you can tell these people have pride in their establishment.Thank you Lyon grill for being in our neighborhood what a gem you are. We will be back often .

The Lyon Grille never disappoints me, It's one of my favorite places to dine. I just returned from Vail, Colorado from a wonderful vacation, many great places to eat...funny thing is the first nite home I headed for the Grille. The owners are real people who genuinely care about the quality of the food, the cleanliness of their establishment, and the dining experience of their customers. Their specials are always wonderful and the menu diverse, great prices, make sure you try the Lyon Grille next time your in South Lyon, a great addition to the South Lyon community.

I recently dined with my fiance at the Lyon Grill. We are new to South Lyon and were unsure of where to go out. As we drove around we noticed a full parking lot and figured we'd stop in. WOW. The place was hopping. We both had steaks, I had a filet with portabella and my fiance the ribeye. They were so so tender and juicy, it was better than some more expensives steakhouses we have been to. Overall, excellent experience; clean, friendly staff, cozy ambiance, great food, reasonably priced. Highly reccommend.

I wanted to have dinner with my wife not her and my wife. The food was average for the cost. There wasn't a bartender on staff and no one knew how to make my drink request. I had to settle for a beer. If you have a bar, shouldn't you have a bartender? I could also hear fighting in the kitchen. I asked the waitress if everything was okay and she said it happens all the time. I think I would have preferred dinner music. Overall, not a good experience, I won't be recommending or rushing back.
