Provided by YP.comTo be in the computer business means sometimes you must suffer customers who think they know more than they actually do. The content of Mr. lgivani's tirade and criticism reflect a lack of understanding of computers and the issues that inevitably arise when you purchase equipment in the bottom of the market. I've been a customer of Technology Center for many years and could not ask for a more knowledgeable, accommodating, ethical and welcoming staff; truly rare in this town. I suggest Mr. lgivani retract his self-indulgent statement and show appreciation for the amount of effort and consideration Technology Center invested in his behalf.

Provided by YP.comi HAVE A VERY NICE PANASONIC COLOR LASER PRINTER BUT PANASONIC WENT OUT OF BUSSINESS. I NEEDED IT REPAIRED AND THE TECH WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIND ALL THE PARTS NESSESARY WHICH WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND. HE ALSO CLEANED AND FILLED ALL THE TONERS, IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT AND I'LL ALWAYS TAKE MY EQUIPMENT THERE TO GET REPAIRED. GREAT JOB TODD! THANKS-BOBBY P.

Provided by YP.comIf your computer's broken, you should take it to Technology Center. If you need computer gear, Tech Center's the best in town. There are several other players around, but none are as reliable, affordable, and friendly.
As a computer consultant, I've been their customer since 2000, and I've sent at least 200 friends, family, customers and colleagues to them for parts, repair, and plain old good advice. They won't gouge just because the customer doesn't understand what's being done.
I've personally purchased PCs, monitors, operating systems, Office, security software, cords and cables, accessories, many hard drives, thumb drives, optical drives, printers, toner, ink, adapters, and more--for new and old systems.
Another incredible thing about Tech Center is that they keep inventory of hard drives, RAM, optical drives, operating systems, video cards, motherboards, processors, printers, toner and ink and all that computer hardware. And if they don't have it on hand, they'll order it, and you'll have it in a day or two.
I honestly can't say enough about these guys. If you haven't tried them and you're still using the Best Geeks, you're missing out on great service and the best prices in town for parts and service.

Provided by YP.comI've been dealing with Kevin and everyone else at Technology Center for several years now. The company I work for has an account there and my small side business also buys from them.
We utilize their services to fix our corporate printers and computers; I also buy laptops, desktops, printers, networking gear, access points, and many other IT related items from them on a regular basis. Everybody there is friendly and has practically bent over backwards to assist me when they can. The cost of purchasing items there is comparable to buying items online, only I have a place to go should there ever be an issue with a purchase.
I was glad to find them and I would recommend you give them a try if you are in need of computer parts or service.

I was sorry to read about Mr Igvani's experience. I also know there are times with old computers that are not "cleaned up" in a timely manner can become so constipated they are an abomnation and expensive to get fixed

Great! I am glad for places like this were, when the opportunity presents itself, to commend someone or some business for good service and a good product. Certainly Technology Center is deserving of a commendation for superior service, honesty and reliability. Along with this, they have been competitive, although I consider there way of doing business more important than the price. If someone is busy then others there pick up the slack and pitch in to help me when I come in. The last time I bought a computer there, this was recent, they took the time to ask questions about my needs and explain the different options of either buying a computer that they could build for me or buying one of the computers that they sell.
I have purchased several computers and different computer things from them since about 1995 or so. During this time, they have always treated me with fairness and honesty. They have been willing to go the second mile. The other day, I had a computer problem and I called a tech and for 15 or 20 minutes he helped me get through a problem. I offered to pay him for his time, but he would not accept it.
Recently, I had a problem with a Battery back-up and surge protector. They spend extra time getting everything for me to fill out and explaining what was needed.
Anyway, ff you need a computer and the things that go with a computer, this is a good place to find what you need. I highly recommend this business for your computer needs.

Provided by YP.comI'm an IT Analyst for RTC, and we've been using this company for over 10 years now. The service is exceptional, and they will always beat anyone else's prices. If something breaks, we bring it back to them and they give us a new one. Whenever we order something, they get it to us within 1 week... usually faster. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comTechnology Center saved me from buying a new computer. My technician, Todd, only clocked two hours of labor on the project. My five-year-old Toshiba Satellite had a loose part inside. The electrical connection would only function if I tightly propped the computer cord against something stable on the kitchen counter, and I had to stand whenever I used the computer. Well, now I can sit again. You can imagine how grateful I am.
Todd also answered my questions about a Skype Phone issue I've been having. He not only took time to talk with me, but he had typed up a two-page analysis, as well. The service at Technology Center is personable and thorough. This is a good business with conscientious technical assistance.

$ 385 LATER I GOT BACK MY COMPUTER! MY GOD; I COULD HAVE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW COMPUTER FOR THIS PRICE AND EXPRESSED MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THEM LOUDLY!
I TOLD THEM TO KEEP ME POSTED WITH THE PRICE AND AN UPDATE! 3 1/2 HOURS OF LABOR AT $ 90/HR!
I DON'T KNOW WHERE THESE TECH'S GOT THEIR TRAINING! IT MUST HAVE BEEN A MICKEY MOUSE INSTITUTION!
In response to Mr Givani's issue, I feel that this critisism is unfair. First of all the system had crased and had a bad hard drive and had to be restored completely. There were issues with the Windows Media center software and some drivers that were requires but not available from Miceosoft at the time. The customer asked if we could use something else, and we suggested going to Windows XP, which was a little more stable. A new install ad completing all new driver upgrades takes 2-3 hours to complete correctly. Haveing initially loaded Media Center, having issues and then loading xp home, getting all the drivers, updating files, installing a new hard drive.There were issues with HP drivers for a wireless device, where the HP installer was not working. We had to spend time researching alternative driversand downloading them. Not always at your finger tips. We also charged $75 per hour not $90 as stated, and charged 3 hours for about 5 hours of work spent on this PC. Very fair in most peoples eyes. The customer was called or left messages numerous times regarding the issues, problems, what we need to do, what we need to replace and agreed to the repairs. We are not a Mickey Mouse institution and our technicians are certified with many vendors. Our customers are mainly businesses, big and small who have normally great praise for our services. We understand that we can't please everybody everytime, but our customers are our business and we go out of our way to meet or exceed expectations
