I took my cat in when I noticed he suddenly developed a swolen eye just before leaving the country. For over $200 they sedated him and probed his eye for 30 minutes finally reporting "recovery uneventful." However, they still sent him home with medication telling me he probably just had a scratch in his eye and that the medicine would hopefully help that too. While away, I had a friend medicate and keep a watchful eye on my cat with no progression. After returning a week later, his eye was much worse, so I took him to my own vet, paying more money out of my pocket where they found a foxtail under his third eyelid without much effort.Due to the vets' neglegence, my baby was subjected to excruciating debilitating pain for 7 days causing him to poop in his own bed twice and his swollen eye to be closed shut with pus. All of which could have been avoided if the job had been done correctly the first time and if a competant veterinarian had been provided for my kitty.
