- Residential Roof RepairFailure of roof flashing or water getting behind roofing termination starting on the top of a parapet wall, if an ineffective cap was chosen for the wall.
- Residential Roof Replacement/InstallationThe purpose of thru-wall (or through-wall) flashing is to give a path for moisture that has entered through the masonry wall-system to exit the masonry wall assembly. Through-wall flashing is typically installed at the base of the wall, window heads, relieving angles and above roofing terminations. Through proper thru-wall flashing installation, we divert water infiltration back out of the wall cavity and prevent moisture infiltration inside your building.

- MasonryIn 1993, Tom and Tracy Smyser began a business with the purpose of providing local, area businesses an alternative option for quality masonry restoration. From 1993-2009, the company prospered, building a solid reputation for outstanding craftsmanship and a long list of loyal customers. Tom’s son, Josh, was involved with the business from the beginning – growing up as a young man working on the job sites on weekends, summers and breaks from school. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa, Josh worked in public accounting as a certified public accountant (CPA) from 2005-2009.
- CaulkingThe four seasons of the Midwest can wreak havoc on keeping brick, block, stone and concrete structures free from corrosion and cracks. While you may be prepared for the type of weather that comes through the Midwest, your structure may not be. TNT Tuckpointing and Building Restoration’s waterproofing and sealant (caulking) experts can help you extend the life of your structure.
- Residential Pressure WashingPower washing brick (or pressure washing brick) shouldn’t be approached by someone without experience in both equipment and chemicals when cleaning brick, block or stone structures because too much pressure from the force of water on the various types of brick, block, or stone, in addition to using the wrong chemical, can cause serious damage and discoloration that can be costly to repair.
