Martin County Parks & Recreation is comprised of administration, recreation, environmentally sensitive land, and park development and maintenance divisions. The department provides information about programs for children, senior citizens and athletic leagues, as well as reservations for various picnic sites. It includes a range of community and regional parks, natural areas, boat ramps and beach access areas. Martin County Parks & Recreation is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies. Additionally, the department conducts several sports and athletic activities.
