Dr. Michael Nguyen will work along with your general dentist and other dental specialists as a team to create healthy smiles that his patients can cherish. He is an American Board Certified periodontist and dental implant specialist. He proudly provides state-of-the-art dental implant and periodontal care to the community of Sunnyvale, California and the surrounding Bay Area. His services include dental implants, specialized periodontal treatment to treat gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery (gum grafts), smile design and esthetic crown lengthening, and grafting and reconstruction to facilitate dental implant placement. He is trained in oral and IV sedation techniques to provide maximum comfort for his patients. Quality and excellence in patient care are Dr. Nguyen’s signature hallmarks.

Dual certificates in Periodontology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and from the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Masters degree in clinical dentistry through his research on the effect of growth factors and bone graft materials on incidence of early dental implant exposure.
