Founded in 1882, the hospital serves patients in more than 90 locations in Pierce, South King, Kitsap and Thurston counties in Washigton. MultiCare s medical facilities include Allenmore Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital. It also offers treatment services for cancer, orthopedic, women s health. The hospital accepts insurance plans from Aetna, Community Health Plan, First Health, Premera Blue Cross and Regence BlueShield. It is accredited by The Joint Commission. In addition, the hospital specializes in preventive cardiology and cardiac health and rehabilitation. MultiCare also operates women s and men s heart centers.
