This place is absolutely a no no. I have tried to make an appointment since December when my insurance finally kicked in (I decided to change insurance plan so I could see Dr. Small).Two hours prior my appointment the nurse called me to let me know that Dr. Small wasn't available to see me that day. She asked me to make the appointment with the Nurse Practitioner instead. I asked her that I rather see Dr. Small because I'm due for a lumbar surgery years ago.She said that Dr. Small won't be available until July. I gave up and two days later I went to see the NP, he requested an MRI and a follow up in 4 weeks. About two weeks prior my April 25th (follow up with the NP), an automatic line called me to cancel that appointment. When I called back they said that NP wasn't available on that day. So I had no choice to reschedule another appointment with another NP for my follow up. They put me down for April 23rd. On April 20th (Friday @ 4:43 pm) Jessica, from authorization department left me a message saying that my appointment has been canceled because she never received a referral for this appointment. Of course I tried to call her back to ask why do I need a referral because this is the second time I'm going to see them, this is for a follow up and to get the MRI results. I don't believe I have to see my primary doctor to go back for a follow up. All I can say is that I never want to deal with them ever again. How many cancelations I need in order to be seeing by the right person and finally being taken care of? I haven't even seen the Doctor and I have been having so much trouble from day one. What a nightmare!
