My complaint is regarding payment. I was signed up on auto pay for my monthly membership starting in may 2014 in sept 2014 prior to my vacation I went into the south location gave dawn another credit card to set up my auto pay to on because I was going on vacation and wanted to make sure my account was taken care of. While I was gone I went on vacation and when I returned my friend told me that Dawn had told her that I didn't pay my account so I went again to the south location they were closed so I went up to the Wanamaker location it said I owed a balance and so I asked them what account they have because I know there was money on that credit card. They gave me the last 4 of my first card. Dawn had never switched my card information over. So I paid the balance owed for September signed a paper to cancel my membership and my final payment would be taken out Oct 20. of course that payment cleared. Now 4 months later I mention to my friend I might start tanning again she comes to me a couple days later telling me that Dawn told her I couldn't tan there because I owed $34. So I called Dawn and told her I have proof that I paid and had a 0 balance and I cancelled. With a girl named Sydney at the Wanamaker location because the south location was closed. She said she tool care of it after I told her I had receipt copies ... then I told her that I didn't appreciate her telling friend I owed money when I didn't and she accused me of being rude i Informed her I would be taking my business elsewhere and hung up the phone. Under no reason a company should not disclose one persons financial business to another person especially when it is false. I have been tanning at island tan both locations off and on since I was 17. When Billy owned the salon I never had any problems at all ever. It's so sad that this business is ran with such unprofessionalism. Because it is clean and nice but I no longer trust them with my privacy or my account information if I was you proceed with caution do NOT disclose your account information.

Although the facility was clean and the clerks were friendly they continued to try and get a bystander to buy unwanted and unneeded products
