i will not recommend this place to anyone, please stay far far away as possible. within one day from buying a car from them i have problems major engine problems. cost me more than 2000 to fix.

My wife and I saw an ad on Craigslist that this business (Sandy River Auto) had placed. They claimed in the ad to not leave you feeling that ripped off feeling that you may get from the other "Big Guy" dealerships. salesperson told us that they detailed other car dealerships cars, saw the injustice done to customers and decided to start selling cars themselves. well, I am glad I read the last 2 reviews (other one sounds like their relative wrote it) because not only was I not impressed with their detailing that THEY had done on the car we looked at, I just wasn't impressed with them. What ever they may be trying to portray in their Craigslist ad about being more honest and better than a dealership in customer service, gets lost in the reality that they are THE SAME if not worse than the big guys. If you are looking for a used car, think about it overnight, read these kind of reviews on the dealership you are thinking of the purchase from and have the car independently inspected first!

These guys claim to not treat you like other car dealerships when they sell you a car. Well my daughter went to their place of business, bought a Honda Accord from them for cash and has had nothing but problems with it since the very next day. They lied about what was wrong and she had an independent Honda repair shop check her car after it was towed there because it wouldn't start. She was handed a detailed inspection that revealed stop leak throughout the entire cooling system, bad starter, leaking steering rack, bad ABS module, worn out drive axel and boots and water in oil from head gasket leak. Repair bill was well over 2000.00 to repair just these things. She called Sandy River llc and they said their mechanic could fix some of the problems cheaper, but she had to pay for it. She learned a hard lesson in that she should have had it inspected first before purchasing or called me to look at it first, but their response was "too bad, sold as is!" She will NEVER buy from them again!

Buyer beware!Seemed like a nice operation, nice looking cars, well maintained lot. Weren't high pressure salesman, and very nice to my face. But when they sold me a car with engine damage and it overheated before I got it home, they refused to reduce the price, refused to pay for engine repairs (overheated due to blown head gasket, faulty radiator and fan; dealer said I "shouldn't have driven it so hot" in 72F weather.) Terrible, terrible experience. PS: When they sent me the plates for the car it took 6 weeks from purchase. Would never recommend anyone to buy here again.

These guys are a first class operation. They were not high pressure and made the car buying experience awesome for us! I would recommend highly!
