These guys grossly over charge!!They scare you into thinking you need to act now and they are the only ones that know what they are doing. . I Still had bees flying around the next day. They came out and discovered that there was honey comb, the day before they had said I was lucky and there was only virgin comb on the outside and nothing inside the Vegas.they wanted over $3,500 to get rid of the hive. When I told them that I called around to other company's they lowered their price , but it was still over $2400 for bee and hive removal when the others is less than $900 for both. The company I had finish the job found that AAA didn't even kill all the bees from the hive. They also didn't understand why AAA wouldn't close the openings so the bees could not return. AAA expect you to do this. When I refused to allow AAA to finish the job they wanted me to sign a statement stating that I wouldn't go to the media or post bad reviews. They offered me $500 to keep my mouth shut.

We called AAA after calling a Pest Control Company about bees we noticed in our backyard over a couple of hours period of time. The Pest Control Company was willing to come to our house without knowing the facts for $200 an hour. They only thing the pest control company wanted to be sure of was that we understood the cost. When we called AAA and spoke to Rick and the owner on two different occasions with a handful of questions, cost was never mentioned up front. They asked us questions, answered our questions and gave us advice on what to do. What they told us would happen with the bees is exactly what happened. They gave us good, sound information without making us feel like we stupid. Luckily for us, the bees came and left without too much excitement. In the event we end up having a bigger bee issue that isn't so easy to handle, we will be calling Rick and the owner of AAA again for help. We appreciate their honesty. Their customer service is A++++++++++. P and S Knott

i.e., A local favoI had AAA out for a killer bee infestation at my home in Tucson, AZ. I was getting into my storage shed for some tools when i came out many bees swarmed on me and started stinging me. I ran into the house and called this company to help me. They came out right away and did an inspection of my shed and my yard and house. The bees were under my shed floor. They had been there for a long time and i did'nt even know it. I understand that we need bees so i didnt want to kill them but i have kids and pets and was afraid for them. They removed the bees by opening the shed floor. There was gallons of honey that they also removed. They cleaned it all up very thouroughly and did a great job and put everything back together for me. They even took pictures with a disposable camera and gave it to me. I would call them again if needed and will tell everyone i can what a great company this is. I am grateful!rite, or highly recommended because

I spoke with Tom once I found we were having a bee problem in our rental house. He was extremely knowledgable about bees being that he is a bee scientist. Their website is very educational and I feel much safer knowing that people like Tom are available to us. Even though my landlord chose to go with a "cheaper" option, I will walk away with a wealth of knowledge! My landlord will be very sorry for choosing the cheaper route. If we have any problems in the future we will be calling Tom! He is now on my speed dial! Thank you Tom.

Does $700 sound fair for an easy nest to remove?

My mother-in-law called to have a nest removed. The nest was in an outdoor shed which was completely empty and allowed for easy access. Long story short, these "specialists" completely fleeced my elderly mother-in-law for $700, and that was with using their coupons. But don't take my word for it, take a look at the Better Business Bureau, which gives this company an "F" rating. Absolutely sickening how some companies take advantage of consumers in this economy.

Prompt & knowledgeable

When we had a swarm of bees take up residence on our patio in Queen Creek, we hoped they would go away. Little did we know that they had already began to build a hive and make honey. When we called AAA Bee Removal, they educated us on bee behavior and that they do not just go away. The technician was prompt, courteous and experienced. We are very happy with how careful the technician was with our property and how thorough he was in removing the bees and the mess! In addition, AAA Bee Removal uses an enzyme that neutralizes bee pheromones so that a new swarm is less likely to invade the same area. We would recommend them to others.

DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT they tell you

Last Thursday evening I found a new bee colony on my home (I found one inside and went to look outside). We called companies from the phone book that evening to see if we could talk to someone and find out how to proceed. We reached AAA Africanized Bee Removal Specialists. Tom (one of the owners) answered the phone. He was well informed about Africanized bees and told us that it would cost $695 to "kill" the bees, however, they will not remove the hive - that's extra. He proceeded to "help" us by rescheduling his crews to come out and put a special chemical on the house that "kills the bee scent". The guys arrived on Friday am. To make a long story short - they wanted to charge an additional $100 for using a 32 ft ladder to reach the area on my home, which is 25ft. $200 more to go into the attic instead of killing them from the outside. IF they need to walk on a tile roof - yep another $100. OH - after all this there is no guarantee that the bees will not come back and of course you are responsible for repairing any damage. They also have a cancellation charge of $275 and they will charge your credit card immediately, which you must give them to book an appointment. I'm surprised they didn't charge for "working". Everything they did was an extra charge and we found out that they use the same chemicals the other bee removal companies do. PLEASE DO NOT FALL for the sales pitch and lies that you will be given. Do your homework and save yourself a lot of money. This was the biggest, most expensive, rip off that I have ever encountered. BTW I've NEVER written one of these reviews before but I really wanted to warn others. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I saw a few bees hovering and some sitting near a woodpecker hole on the wall of my shed. I checked it the next day and saw some going in and out of the hole as well. I looked on the Internet to try to figure out what was going on. I found this site, wow! The top article says Danger - you see only a few bees. The first picture I saw looked exactly like what I was seeing on my shed. I called them and had service within an hour. The beekeeper that answered the telephone confirmed what I was seeing and was knowledgable and very helpful. He walked me through the site, showed me various pictures of similar situations. The beekeeper that came out to take care of the problem was very professional and showed me just how big the problem really was. He ended up removing 20 gallons of honeycomb from the wall! I was really impressed with the people and the service. Thank you AAA.

My father is elderly. He'd calledAAA Bee Removal & spoke to Tom who is a bee researcher & one of the company founders. They have been in business since 1993. They spent a lot time with my father explaining what his bee problem was & how they would calm the bee colony, drill into the colony cavity, probe & determine where the bees & honeycomb were & properly exterminate the colony. My father called all the other companies in the Yellow Pages & said that the other companies did not know very much about bees let alone how to kill the colony. AAA Bee Removal came out & I was there. Indeed they new a tremendous info about bees, bee colonies, pollen gathering bees etc. It was quite a process to observe(from inside the house) how proficient the specialist was. There were no bees flying when he finished. He explained that there was over 8 gallons of honeycomb in the wall. Sure enough,we opted to have them do a honeycomb cutout & removal. He scraped out & removed 12 gallons of messy honeycomb.

I would recommend this company to anyone in need of bee removal services. I chose this company from the Yellowpages not having a clue as what I needed to do. When I called I spoke to the President of the Company Tom Martin, who took the time to explain the consequences of bee invasions to my home. He sent a technician within the hour to investigate our situation. The Technician was knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. He ridded our home of the bees and honeycomb, preventing complications of mold, structural damage and the possibility of attracting ants, mice and other pests to the honeycomb site. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. DeWayne Strader

I highly recommend this company. They responded quickly and promptly, were knowledgable about the bees and took care of the swarm. I had a swarm on my outside wall and it was completely gone and cleaned up quickly. The technician stayed for a while afterwards and watched the foraging worker bees and made certain that they were eliminated also. They were able to provide a great rate and had great customer service. If you need bees removed they're the first to call.

Don't be manipulated by their fear-based language. There are other companies who don't use dishonest tactics. Also there are some who will save the bees and move them somewhere else - I wasn't given that option. Don't get ripped off like I did and be manipulated to make an impulsive, unecessary, and costly descision based on being in the grip of fear.

I was told one thing on the phone, and another after they took charge card #. They charged me several extra hundred-dollars after they did the work saying it costs extra to remove the structure that the bees built. They didn't mention any thing about this prior to hiring. They used fear on the phone to hijack my charge card #. They also said that because it was after 6:30pm, it was extra in hundreds of dollars.

They also lied to the BBB about my complaint.

I did'nt know who to call. It's Sunday. I keep my horse at a stable near Harrison & Golflinks & bees started attacking several horses without any provocation. The beehive was under a nearby mobile home & become angry for no reason. We called AAA Bee Removal & spoke to a real beekeeper who really knew what he was talking about. They sent a real bee removal expert & he knew exactly what to do. Shortly after he got started a 2nd specialist from AAA Bee Removal arrived & then a few minutes later a 3rd worker arrived on the scene. Each of the bee specialists was in a well stocked truck, with special tools & equipment. While they were working, another patron of the stables said that he had Orkin come to his house for a bee problem and he was very dissatisfied. Orkin had to come back 3 times & still did not remove the honecomb. AAA Bee Removal not only calmed & killed the bees, but they also performed a thorough honeycomb removal. Well done AAA Bee Removal, they are well worth the money.

Above and beyond...

Last week, it was reported to me by my neighbor that a swam of bees were collecting around the Northeast corner of my house near a bay window attached to the master bedroom. I arranged to have an exterminator out to the house to eliminate the bees in an eco-friendly way – using environmentally safe products. This exterminator quickly informed me that this situation was outside the scope of what he could handle. Nonetheless, he fumigated the attic and bees fled the house (probably only for a matter of 24 hours), only to return. At this point, without the bees wings there cooling down the honeycomb in the Arizona heat, approximately five gallons of honey and honeycomb fell into the wall space of my master bedroom (on the northeast side of the room) and began melting. This was the beginning of the structural damage to the wall and internal framework.

So I had contacted a different exterminator that had a great track record of handling bad bee situation, AAA Bee Removal. They responded quickly and the next morning they went to my home to assess the situation – which was far worse than we could have imagined. They successfully exterminated the bees and removed the honeycomb to prevent damage. AAA did great extra things like: cleaning, deodorizing, and spreading an absorbent.

I would recommend them to anyone

Unlike any other competitor in Arizona, we do not perform any other aspect of pest control except, bees, wasps, hornets and honeycomb removal. All of our specialists are very seasoned, well trained, experienced professional beekeepers that have been trained in our parent company which is a large commercial beekeeping company headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. Our competitors, on the other hand, are not beekeepers, but rather are pest control companies who do termite extermination, and other pest control. Frankly, few other pest control companies actually attempt to perform bee extermination. All companies that do bee removal in Arizona are regulated by the State of Arizona, Structural Pest Control Commission. Despite the fact that our men are all trained beekeepers, our specialists are held to the same standards as other " pest control operators," however, our specialists have a huge advantage over operators trained only in pest control. Our specialists are trained for a minimum of 5 years in our beekeeping company and have an intimate knowledge of bee biology and bee behaviors.
