      Founded in 1981, Desert Survivors is a nonprofit human service agency that works for the preservation of Sonoran Desert. It provides employment to people with physical disabilities. The company provides intervention services to families of the children who are at risk of developmental delays. It runs a business enterprise and operates an adult services program. Desert Survivors adult vocational program features nursery maintenance by adults with physical problems. It provides a retail outlet for plants and promotes the use of natives in urban landscapes.
