Provided by YPmobileWent for my grandson's 8th birthday, he said his steak was a masterpiece and that he would give the chef a 5 star rating!
Worst place ever! I live in College Station, where a combined population of Bryan, CS and Texas A&M, probably come close to 250,000. And more than that during football season. So why would Tyler, my hometown, 100,000 plus, have a problem seating 4 people w/reservations at this restaurant? A table of 12 seated before us, even though, their reservation was made after ours? We had to wait an extra 30 minutes and we had children w/us. The 12 party did not. The "man kid" at the waitress stand tried to lie to my son, about our reservation. Apologies to my son, I had to step-in and get mad! The manager stepped in and tried to ease the situation but they still made us wait another 15 minutes!! We have now waited 45 minutes. My son says, the food is good! Hoping it is! Because being treated w/such disrespect isn't cool. Thanks Shogun's for the "not fun" part of my vacation in Tyler w/family. 'Preciate it......

this past Friday, I took my son and his girlfriend to shoguns. It was a day for him beings he was haviing surgery this Monday. This visit there was extremely disappointing. The whole table complained about our chef. While waiting to eat, the girls at hostess desk where painting their fingernails. It was in the air as we ate. I'm am extremely disappointed in ruining my sons night.

Provided by YPmobileMenu prices are not what I was charged. Had to get a menu myself and make them correct my check. Ordered teriyaki salmon with tempura veggies and tempura shrimp as listed on menu. Received salmon with little teriyaki sauce and oily fried vegetables with 2 oily fried shrimp. When I asked was told the would bring me tempura shrimp if I wanted??? Isn't that what the menu said? Anyway food was oily, soup was bland, and teriyaki sauce thin. I eat a lot of Japanese food, in a lot of cities on my travels. This place was disappointing

This is a very fun concept geared toward the robust crowd. The teppanyaki chefs are as good as any I have seen in the United States.
