    Drug & Alcohol Abuse TreatmentStudies of recidivism rates indicate that a number of women prematurely discharge themselves from treatment to be with their children. In an effort to impact staggering statistics, IVRS includes a component where children can accompany their mothers while in treatment. Women with children receive all services as described for residential programs, as well as specialized parenting education and life skills instruction.IVRS\u2019 licensed therapists evaluate children in need of specialized services and/or counseling and make appropriate referrals. IVRS\u2019 women with children program is currently the focus of a 3-year, $1,000,000 Capital Campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to accommodate the rapid growth of this program. IVRS offers residential treatment to adult women in a large state-of-the-art treatment center with a capacity of 55 beds for women and 20 beds for children (aged 0-12 yrs). The program is based on the \u201CTherapeutic Community\u201D (TC) model of treatment. The TC provides a safe and stable environment required for the first stages of recovery. Length of stay ranges from 7 to 180 days.IVRS offers non-medical detoxification services to adult men and women in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. The overall goal of the detoxification program is to stabilize those suffering from the debilitating effects of alcohol and drug abuse so that they can begin the recovery process.Substance Abuse Treatment

State Licensed and CARF Accredited

In 2003 IVRS was awarded a maximum-term 3-year accreditation from CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. IVRS is CARF accredited for the following identified programs: Detoxification, therapeutic communities (TC) and outpatient substance abuse treatment services.
