I don't trust anyplace that I can't see inside. Steer Barn is SO dark that you can hardly see what you're eating. Also, while others really like their salads and bread, I think the salads taste like they came from a plastic container from GFS, and the bread is so stale and crunchy I don't even bother with it. I had chicken when I was last there, and it did taste good.

I wanted to let you know the treatment we were given on our last meal at your Steer Barn. We recently came to celebrate our 2 years as man and wife, we did come in after 8pm, and that was our first mistake. We ordered what we had 2 years ago, med well, we were brought 1 med well,1 med rare, but didn't complain, but the waitress came to take our entrees and I ask her to leave them, as we were enjoying them with our meals, but 5 minutes later she came back, took the breads, entrees, reaching across our table, and started rushing us. We came to enjoy our food, not listen to some waitress hurrying to clear our table for the dishwasher. The bartender fixed my husbands' drink and was very polite, as for the waitress, she needs to learn some manners in being a good waitress. Her tip was not what it would have been. Owning a business ourselves, that is no way to treat your customers. They are your business. We will never visit there again, we will go to a place that treats cust respectfully.
