The gentlemen at Aim Piano Transport did an excellent -- caring and careful job -- of moving our piano -- both times we had to move it. They definitely know how to handle delicate but heavy items. The prices were reasonable and the guys were polite. I recommend them for your local piano-or-heavy-item moving needs (they move hot tubs, too!).

After reading their reviews I was skeptical about hiring Aim to move my piano however I had originally hired a different company to move my upright. When they got there they said they couldn't move my piano because of the fact that it had to be moved up a flight of stairs and they felt it wasn't safe for them to move my piano without damaging it. I contacted Aim through their website and submitted their online form for a quote. I submitted the form at 9 am and received a response before noon! The price that was quoted was fair and they were even able to come out the next day. I also sent them pictures of my piano, the stairs, and the space it needed to be moved to (to ensure I wouldn't waste my time if not) They said they could do it no problem. The day of the move their guys called me when they were on their way and showed up within the time they said they would. They came prepared with the proper equipment and moved my piano up those stairs with ease. Overall their guys were professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their piano moved.

Buck and his assistant moved my grand piano down a junky asphalt driveway with no concern and delivered without a scratch. I'm a pro mover myself and called Buck to handle this for me. Prompt, courteous journeymen! Not many true professional license holders out there still working. Buck has this integrity and is an asset to the trade.

Buck and his team did an outstanding job moving what started out to be a small move and turned into a bigger project. We needed to move a piano, but ended up having them help us with our entire move from Carpinteria to Pasadena. We ended up moving more than we had anticipated and Buck had the foresight to bring on an extra man to speed it up. I'd highly recommend Aim and would definitely use them again!

Recently hired Buck's services for a move in town, his employees Zack and Pepe did a fantastic job! They were fast, efficient and we really appreciate the work they did for us. As we all know moving is stressful but with their help everything went smoothly. We would definitely use their services again!

I highly recommend Buck and his team. I needed to move my son's belongings from Santa Barbara to Colorado last week and the complicating factor was a rather old and very sentimental piano "with a past" that had already broken one of it's wheels. Buck and his team expertly loaded everything, especially the 3 wheeled piano from 1 storage locker into a moving van. I was so impressed I asked if they could combine our 2 storage lockers (which required moving yet another old and very heavy upright piano). They rearranged their schedule to do it the very next day. Day 2 also went great. I will hire them later this year for Day 3 to move that huge upright into it's next home. Buck and his team are experienced, quick, cheerful, careful, considerate, professional. It allowed me to actually enjoy the moving process. Buck also went out of his way to work out several options to help ease the cost of the Colorado move.

Buck was very helpful and prompt with our request for a relocation from Lompoc to Goleta. He sent 3 guys who were very helpful, efficient, fast and friendly. Sterling was the lead and kept checking in with us, did a couple of walk-throughs to ensure what was staying stayed, and to load everything that was coming with us. When they took a slightly longer lunch break, Sterling contacted me via text to provide us with an update and an ETA. Once they had off-loaded everything, they asked if they could help more by moving around boxes to specific rooms/areas. The price was also significantly lower than another bid. We most definitely will recommend their services to family and friends.

My husband Matt B. and I bought a house last year, and since we're planning to stay here for much or all of the rest of our lives, we decided to bring Matt's childhood piano from Santa Barbara to LA. I got on Google and looked up "santa barbara piano mover" and found Buck's Yelp page. He was exactly the guy I was looking for.

I called like the week before Christmas and was able to set up a move date for later in the week. Buck was super easy to deal with. He answered all my questions and had ready availability. He even coordinated things with my father-in-law, who had to let him in to get the piano in Santa Barbara. We scheduled the move for a Friday, but Buck called to reschedule because it was set to storm that day--bad for traffic, and bad for pianos. He didn't delay the move, but instead pushed it up to that Wednesday.

He didn't promise an arrival time, but he set off as promised at 9 in the morning, did the pick-up in Santa Barbara and came straight to LA, getting in around noon. He and his helper were warm and professional, and they had the piano set up in an hour. They also moved a couple pieces of furniture for us while they were at it, charging nothing above the extra time, which was minimal on both ends.

The move wasn't cheap--$325 for the piano, $130 an hour per hour of drive time, plus $40 for fuel/truck fees and a credit card charge added up to around $900--but it was nothing compared to the cost of a grand piano. That grand piano, by the way, is a Steinway bought in the '90s from Buck's father--I guess that was the family business for a while, and Matt's family has been in Santa Barbara since the '70s. This discovery, made by Buck and my father-in-law, filled me with warm fuzzies, and I was even happier that we found Buck. If you're looking to move a piano (or, you know, anything less complicated than a piano, which is pretty much anything) in or out of Santa Barbara, I can't recommend him enough.

Buck was able to get us into his schedule in less than a week.
When he arrived to survey our move and give us the bid, I was a bit shell-shocked at the amount; however, when his guys arrived, they went right to work and and did not stop until the job was complete. They were also easy to work with, personable and careful. The move went very smoothly and we would use them again!

This is the crew you want! I met these guys as they were moving a piano and picked up one of their cards. A few weeks later I needed a massive hot tub moved, over a wall no less! They showed up on time, they were safe and moved the hot tub methodically. The price was very reasonable, I couldn't have been happier with the job they did! Highly recommend!

I have used AIM piano moving services 3 times with great success! Buck and his crew are very professional, and since I'm a piano teacher this job is very important to me. The first time, moving from the Bay to Ventura, they waited for me since the trip down took longer than expected and did the move late at night which was a savior! Then they helped me move it into storage before another move to LA, where they gave me a crazy deal to drive it all the way down. They're very affordable compared to competitors, and take the job seriously. Highly recommend!

We have used Aim several times. They are dependable, honest, prompt, and careful. Bob is extremely knowledgable about pianos and gave us valuable information regarding our Steinway. He then went out of his way to research additional information for us.
