      Horrid experience. Would definitely never recommend. I do however believe it was an act of God that put me off Dr Bern and stopped me from making a massive mistake

      Dr. Bern was educated at Harvard where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He then attended Yale Medical School and served as president of his medical school class. Dr. Bern subsequently completed a General Surgery residency at Harvardââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s Massachusetts General Hospital where he was Chief Resident in 1989-90. He married Dr. McCall and joined her at UCLA where he was Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery in 1991-92. Dr. Bern is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. Since starting his private practice in 1992, Dr. Bern has performed over 10,000 cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He has served as Chief of Surgery at the Ventura County Medical Center and is on the medical staff of Community Memorial Hospital, St. Johnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s Regional Medical Center, Ojai Valley Hospital and Channel Islands Surgery Center.
