- Oil ChangeEvery manufacturer has different recommendations as to how often and at what mileage you should have your oil change done. Neglecting an oil change will result in causing stress and unnecessary wear on your engine, which could cause it to stop running well before its time. Replacing an entire engine is a very costly repair to make as a result of failing to regularly change the oil. Give us a call today schedule an appointment for your next oil change. - Transmission RepairI was very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy that the AutoCraft employees and Miles, the service director, showed toward my wife and me. The thoroughness, cleanliness, and completeness of the clutch replacement and transmission repair of my 1994 GMC pickup is greatly appreciated by both of us. The job was completed on time and with no hidden costs. They are a fair and honest auto repair business to work with and I shall take all of my auto repair needs to AutoCraft from now on. Many Thanks Guys...Mike
- Transmission Fluid ServiceThe first time I took my car in, they seemed great. They fixed a few problems, did an inspection and gave me a few estimates for future repairs in the amount of $650. They even came to my house and got my car. But shortly after, my car starting acting strangely.Thinking that it was time for the transmission flush they had suggested, I made an appointment. Three weeks after the first repair, I took my car in for this service and suddenly I needed another $1200 worth of repairs done to the automatic steering pump. Not only did I need it done, but my car was going to be pretty much "undriveable" until I got this service.I was highly skeptical that a problem that was not found in the first inspection, suddenly appeared only days after having her serviced. I decided to take her to another shop for a second opinion. I did not tell the second shop anything about what CARS had told me and let them make their own evaluation of the car. They came back with much the same estimate as CARS had the first time (except the transmission service which we had just had done) and suggested $400 worth of work. They noticed a small issue with the automatic steering fluid which they fixed for free as part of the inspection because it only took 10 minutes. After this experience I will never go to CARS again as it seems they are one of those businesses that like to "find" problems that don't exist as soon as they see a woman walk through the door. Thank goodness my husband is more car savvy and knew that they were trying to gauge me!
