      Global Pain Care is the medical discipline dedicated to the relief of pain. Pain is something which nobody wants, but one who gets it is one of the most miserable person. Pain is an important sign as it brings to our attention various underlying problems. Pain in acute situations is short lived and is treated with specific procedures or medicines. For example, pain after fracture needs fixing the fractured bone with some pain medications, pain after surgery may be treated with nerve blocks, epidurals or medications. Pain becomes a problem when it gets Chronic. The chronic pain needs to be addressed and managed properly as it changes our daily life and activities. Over a period of months and years, it starts affecting our job and family life, and can also lead to depression.
