John Muir Medical Center is a 300-plus bed trauma center located in Walnut Creek, Calif. The center specializes in high- and low-risk obstetrics, orthopedics, neurosciences, and cardiac and cancer care. Its orthopedics department offers various surgeries, including elbow and shoulder, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, knee and leg and spine surgeries. The center also provides physical rehabilitation services and total joint replacement. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. John Muir Medical Center has received the Mckesson VIP Award. It is a part of the John Muir Health that offers a wide array of inpatient clinical treatment services and equipment to patients, and has various hospital and medical facilities. The center provides a variety of outpatient medical treatment services, medical research, community education and outreach programs.
