I seem to attract stray animals, and I have five in my home at the present. My oldest cat (20 years) was very big and heavy. She was disappearing before my eyes. Her weight lose was alarming. My vet did blood work with no negative results, and I asked about putting her down I was quoted a price of $149.00. I did not have $149.00, but my cat needed to be put down. I called Paws Watch to ask about vets in the area that would help. They gave me Care for Animals contact number, and when I called I and my cat were helped. If I could not get help from Care for Animals, I would have been forced to watch my cat die from wasting away. It was difficult watching her for the short time she was ill, so Care for Animals understood my dilemma and saved her.

We finally found a vet who cared for pets like they are family! We can call and ask questions and the staff is always kind and helpful. Thank you guys for being so great!! I recommend you to everyone!!

On sundayOct 24,Dr Rauch performed surgery on our 7yr old male cat"Scruffy"for a stone in his bladder.The doctor explained how serious the operation would be .That night Dr Rauchcalled to report how Scruffy was doing,and expressed how bad she was feeling when she saw the damage to his bladder from the stone.Since that day Scruffy has been in and out of the office and , recieved fluids, medication . The surgery went fine there was something else going on.Visit on Nov 2 Dr Rauch hugged Scruffy and told him she would not give up, I was holding back tears.13 days have passed and he is now eating and drinking & improving in the right direction.I have never witnessed such love, care &compassion that Dr Rauch & her staff have expressed.I truly believe that there are "ANGELS"amongst us right there at "Care For Animals".Over the years I have seen lots of Vets, but never experienced such loving care that Scruffy is recieving from Dr Rauch & the staff , Lydia & Murray Charron
