A native of Japan, she came to the U.S. as a Fulbright scholar to study U.S. and international copyright protection and began her practice in U.S. intellectual property law with an emphasis on trademark and copyright law in 1993 and joined Browdy and Neimark in 2002.

She has assisted clients in drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, employment agreements, and settlement agreements. She has represented clients in Lanham Act unfair competition litigation and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Nawashiro is fluent in both Japanese and English.
