The first cause for concern was when Dave Johnson himself, informed me that the mechanism one of THEIR plumbers had drawn for me on a previous visit doesn't even exist!

But, most upsetting of all was the way that, beginning with the very first words out of his mouth, he chose to be (shockingly) condescending, insulting and downright disdainful towards me. He flat out refused to explain or discuss anything I asked about and acted as if it was ludicrous to think that he should be expected to do such a thing. Before asking me to give him THOUSANDS of dollars, and potentially much more, he actually complained that he had had to be there for a whole 30 minutes!

Lastly, his bid proposal included conflicting statements and holes in exactly what of the total required job was covered under it or not. When asked to clarify the details in writing, and to work with his suggested contractor/friend (George "Rocky" Ford) to be able to provide me with a written quote for the required reconstruction, they both chose instead to renege on the job and walk out! I have never seen behavior so indicative of an intent to saddle you with "unforeseen expenses" down the road in my life. There is not a consumer advocate agency out there that approves of what they were offering!

I simply cannot fathom why any person would choose to treat someone, let alone a potential client, the way Mr. Johnson did. Nor, why anyone would want to, or be able to, run their business in this way.
