      General Info
      Jennifer Wald is a certified Physician Assistant at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (GW MFA), in the Department of Medicine, Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Jennifer practices medicine in the OBGYN department with a focus on gynecologic complaints, infertility, and health maintenance. She has a background in Infectious disease working as a provider on the Moderna Vaccine Trial and delivering primary and gynecologic care on a Mobile Health Delivery Unit for IVDU for prevention of Addiction, HIV, and HCV. Jennifer received her BS in Biology and Theater at Bates College in 2013. She continued her medical education at NYU where she received high honors obtaining her Master's degree in Molecular Biology. Her research in metabolic oncology and angiogenesis has led to several publications during her time spent at NYU, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Regeneron. She began her clinical medical training at Stony Brook University's Physician Assistant program in 2018 and joined the GWU-MFA shortly after graduating. Prior to joining the GW MFA, Jennifer worked in the first established Immunotherapy Department at Dana Farber Cancer Institution where she served as a biospecimen specialist and research coordinator. She has taught fitness classes as a spin instructor for many years and led education sessions for her clients on health and fitness benefits. Jennifer is most passionate about patient education and helping to integrate both traditional and innovative therapeutics to all of her patients. Jennifer aims to empower women and create strong partnerships with her patients and provide optimal and individualized care.
