My office has been successfully representing employees in public and private sector employment litigation in the Washington, D.C. area and throughout the United States for over 20 years. My practice specializes in a wide variety of litigation areas including wrongful termination, adverse and disciplinary actions, discrimination, severance agreements and security clearances. With extensive experience and diversity in a variety of law areas, the Office of Steven J. Silverberg provides clients with the care, accuracy and dedication expected of a seasoned attorney. Before opening my practice, I worked as an attorney for the National Treasury Employees Union NTEU for over 4 years. NTEU is one of the largest federal employees unions, and represents employees who work in many different federal agencies. I graduated the Washington College of Law of the American University in 1982. I honestly care about my clients and represent them zealously. I will fight very hard for you. I have won many employees their jobs back after they had been terminated. Providing my clients with the best legal representation possible at affordable rates is my goal and guarantee. I represent employees before federal and local courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission EEOC, the Merit Systems Protection Board MSPB, local human rights agencies, the DC Office of Employee Appeals OEA, the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals, unemployment compensation offices, in arbitrations and in many other forums.
