Flea and misqueto infestation, dogs not looked after trash in the yard. I adopted a puppy from them that it turns out is extreemly I'll do to lack of care feeding and cleanliness. James and Donna seem like nice people but I will NEVER get a dog or leave a dog with them. One more thing stop using religion to get people to overlook the deplorable conditions of that so called kennel. One star only because I had to put it to save the review!

Donna and James Fowler are great people who truly LOVE the dogs they care for. I boarded my lab with them many times including once toward the end of his life when he was already quite ill from cancer. Donna treated him like her own and spent a great deal of time with him to insure his comfort . I also think they do great work at the shelter with their rescue work. Now onto the negative. I now own a MUCH larger dog and I don't think they are equipped to handle such a big guy. James will usually give your dog a bath (if you ask nicely), but I'm pretty sure my dog never got a bath, although they said he did, and he was a total stinker when he came home. The runs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week. Some dogs had visible eye infections, which my dog later got. Also, the last time I was there, the kennel was a filthy, crowded mess; multiple dogs to a run and feces everywhere. I was so upset to leave my baby in this mess, I picked him up after just one day and haven't returned. They were probably just understaffed that day or hadn't cleaned yet but I really didn't like what I saw. Bottom line is, I think they have huge hearts and just can't say no to another dog whether it be a rescue or a boarder. I'm guessing, they probably just don't have the facility space to handle all of these dogs and it probably overwhelms them.

Great place , kurada beds for the pets, propane heat, tons of volunteers on weekends that help with the socialization and walk dogs. A few years ago the owner almost died hospitalized for near a year and other people did not work as hard to keep everything done. Now they do mostly rescue and board the rescue pets. They are licensed by the state and inspected. Jim W must have went at a very bad time if there is any truth to what he is trying to say. But sounds like he should run all that is done there in one day perfectly. If you think you want to try call them sure they would let you run the roads saving lives, feed pets 2x a day, wash dogs, haul 100 gallon propane take to get it filled every 5 days, wash dogs, medicate dogs, walk, groom, brush dogs, wash dog beds.....just a few things it takes to run a rescue with very little or no support....bet you drive a nice car, sleep in a nice home and take great vacations. You are not doing the sacrifice. It is easy to judge for you.... Step in and open your own rescue then judge once you either do it your self or help someone like this out save over 300 pets a day.
