Two times we've taken our sleek healthy dog to Pet Palace; he came home with kennel cough the first time and this time he has welps from his shoulders to his forehead! Both times have (of course) required a visit to his vet. Don't trust them with your beloved pet.

PLEASE do not take your pets here. I took my dog to be groomed and when I picked her up she had petechial hemorrhaging in both eyes. At some point during my dogs grooming she was strangled and it caused the blood vessels in her eyes to rupture. I met privately with the owners, but they could not give me an explanation as to how this happened even though there were cameras in the office where I spoke to them. They did offer to refund my vet bills, but not the cost of the grooming. I declined wanting them to understand that it was not about the money, but about my dogs safety. I knew when I walked out of the door that they were not going to do anything to change the safety of their facility. I dropped my dog off trusting in the care of Pet Palace and they failed to provide her with care that I (very expensively) paid for. Now I will only take my dog to a groomer where I can see her at all times and know she is safe. Please don’t let what happened to my dog happen to yours.

The Pet Palace is a top-notch boarding/training/daycare facility. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and there does not seem to be a large turn-over rate. The "playground" where the dogs play is great, complete with a pool, which my dog LOVES! The staff that oversee the daycare are always busy interacting and playing with the dogs. Our dog completed their basic training class, so the staff continues to re-inforce what she has learned. We recently had a tragedy in our home involving our "babies" and the Pet Palace was there for us - whatever we needed, they provided with compassion and comfort.

I too have read & heard some bad things about this place. Lost dogs, retention pond ditch for the dogs to play in. The few times I did go there the employees I knew are gone. What goes on here? My dogs are not taken out like they tell me. I ran in to a former employee at another kennel I now go to & they told me all these good reviews are lies and ARE written by the owners & staff! The bad ones are the real ones here! That is a scarey thought. Do your hmework people - before you go here. Don't be deceived by the pricey limo & fake promises.

Dottie..Dorothy..Angela..How could you have possibly been in Florida the last four years when you have lived right here in Houston? I don't think that just because you are one of the owners that gives you the right to make-up/fabricate stories in order to have good reviews!

We always took our dogs here until we moved to Florida 4 years ago. Was surprised to see any negative reviews. But since our experiencs in the past were always so gret we figured we at least owed it to ourselves and our dogs to find out if this place really did go down hill.



I am so glad that we did go back and didn't listen to those reviews. It is just as wonderful as ever. In fact we recognized several of our favorite staff faces that were here when we lived here before including the owners which we found to be still very hands on with their day to day business..



We just love them and glad to be able to use them again now that we are back in town. I told my new neighbors about them and found out that they already use Pet Palace and would not take their dogs anywhere else.!

I don't think it could be any better except if they were open all day on Saturday.... Love this place.

I was referred to this place by one of the owners- she actually sold us our home. I am so glad she did as I don't know if I would have found it since it is off the beaten path. But it is great and so close to I 45 & Dixie - easy access for both of us.

We use the day care for our both our dogs occasionally but mostly when traveling for extended periods of time.

We didn't think we would find a place we liked as much as the one in Dallas. So glad we found this place, it s the best and so are the owners. :-)

I toured several area dog boarding places listed on line and found this place to be the top of my list. Unlike 99% of the others, this place smells great every time I have been there, the kennels for each dog are much larger then others, and the actually have ton of play yards for my dog to get out and play several times each day off leash. They also have a really nice group play area that we have not tried out yet but plan to over the summer. It has a really nice large outdoor pool which my lab is gonna really dig!!! (Not litterly)

Gotta to see it. the other thing I liked is they didn't make me come back later for a tour the first time I came which surprised me, I guess some of the other places werent interested in a pop in guest!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service our pets received at the Pet Palace. We have four dogs (two poodles and two labs). Our dogs were very well taken care of during our vacation. We are very selective on services for our pets. Our pets came back happy, healthly and exhausted from all the FUN they had on their vacation. Would definately recommend this company!! Will use them again!!
