ACT Services, a part of Children's Bureau, provides a variety of services to children and families. It is a collaboration of several people and agencies in Johnson County, Ind., to mobilize the community support for child- and family-centered care. ACT Services maintains various departments, including mental health, special services, community corrections, and juvenile court and probation. The program offers information, referral, diagnostic, family support, and home- and school-based case management services. It provides adoption and foster and residential care services. Additionally, the program maintains several shelters for runaway, homeless and abused children. ACT Services is located in New Whiteland, Ind.
