I hired this company to pump my septic tank. I was told over the phone that the cost would be $385.00, I asked if it was a problem that they had not pumped my tank before and was assured that they would find the location from the site plan. On the day they came to pump the tank it was snowing pretty hard, the crew was unable to find the tank and instead hit a gas line. Finally they found the tank in the area that I had initially indicated was where the tank was. When I got the bill they charged me for an extra hour ($165.00) plus a dig fee of $75.00 plus a thickness fee of $50.00 bringing the grand total to $685.00. When I called the office to try to negotiate a compromise I spoke to the rudest person named Carol who refused to even talk about a compromise. In fact she was so interested in telling me how it was OK for them to bill me for these things that she never stopped talking long enough for me to tell her my point of view. When I later talked to another septic company to find out their charges I was told that the charge for my tank would be $390.00 with no additional dig fee. Do yourself a favor and find another company for your septic needs.

Great customer service! I called yesterday and reported septic issues; they were at my house and had the issues repaired in less than 24hrs. This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I will definitely call upon them again if/when services are needed. Both gentleman were very friendly, even taking the time to explain the process to my children. Thanks for the great service!!!

Highly recommend this company. Closing on mother in laws house I was selling was held up because replacement septic tank was necessary. They secured permits, worked with the county and had the system replaced in short order so we could close, and all this during the holidays. Great people to work with. AlanM.

I would recommend the Kovalaks for your septic tank repairs. Great quality of work. They came out in the cold 30 degree weather to replace my septic pump, install risers, and reroute the electrical to the outside of the tank. They were the first to personally answer the phone, understood the urgency of the matter and proceeded quickly, on a Saturday. After having the tank pumped twice already this year and having trouble finding someone who does this kind of work, I really appreciate the time they put in to help us in an emergency situation.

This highly professional company has cleaned our tanks for years and will take care of any problems they encounter with speed and efficiency. They responded to us immediately on a Saturday three weeks before the closing of our home when we found out our septic field failed and we needed to put in a new septic field. Mrs. Kovalak provided a fair bid to do all the work, worked with the county, obtained all the permits, and the guys completed the field in time for our closing of the property. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and in the middle of winter!! If you want professional and long lasting results, get the KOVALAKS!!! They are the BEST!!!

I have had Jim Kovalak pump my tank for years. These guys are the best and know what they are doing. I have had other pumpers come out and were pumping from the wrong lid and not cleaning all of the sewage out. They have came out before on the weekend pulling them away from their family to take care of my household. 100.00 extra is no big deal. The guys also got inside of my tank and vacuumed the line out. I saved so much money compared to calling a plumber. They have to pay the workers probably overtime and waiting until the weekday was not an option. I had no problem paying 100.00 extra. The ladies in the office were so helpful and answered all of my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I recently had a backed up sewage system, I called several places on a Sunday evening and Jim Kovalak was the only place that would work on a Sunday. They had to call someone in from home, but they did come. Sure as the previous whiner stated it was an extra $100! So what! At least I got my problem fixed! Instead of smelling sewage all night and not being able to use my bathroom or take a shower in the morning! Being raised in the city I never thought of having my tank pumped. So I got a thickness charge as well. Lesson learned! But I am not going to whine about it! The guy even stuck his head in the tank to make sure it was sound of structure and we did not have any roots blocking the the line! From what my neighbors have said the people they call didn't ever check anything so they were impressed and they now will call Jim Kovalak too! I highly recommend them to anyone! My dad and grandfather have both used then since they helped me out and they will continue to use them in the future!

They also will pull out a perfectly clean filter, spray it with your water hose for literally 3 seconds and charge you an extra $25 saying they "cleaned" it. I let them do this to me twice and haven't used them since. They lose out every year now on my business because they are crooked.

Feeling ripped off. I was charged an extra $100 for them coming on a Sunday. Then when the job was done, another $100 for "thickness" and tank a "little full". Two 500 gallon tanks quoted for $215. Total after all $415. Parkway has done it for me three times & only charges me $250 for 1,750 gallons, all 3 of my tanks. I will be sure to call them from now on.
