      My Garage Door looked completely broken. It came off the rails, was twisted, unable to close and I thought that I would need a new door. OVERHEAD DOOR came out the same day and fixed it without needing to replace it. They were fast and honest. GREAT RELIEF that they were so nice and accommodating and competent. A++++.       The first upward-lifting garage door was invented by C.G. Johnson in 1921; this sparked the beginning of the Overhead Door Co. The electric door opener was then invented shortly after in 1926. Today, the company he began is still recognized as the leading single source manufacturer of integrated door and operator systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. Locally, Don Johnson began the Overhead Door Company of Burlington, Inc. out of his home in 1948 and is now in it's third generation. Overhead Door of Burlington has grown to become one of the largest installers of overhead garage doors and electric operators in Vermont, New Hampshire and one of the largest firms of its kind in Northern New England, consistently winning national awards and recognition. The Overhead Door Company of Burlington offers the exceptional combined advantages of the original, superior Overhead Door products. An extensive, well trained, and experienced staff to promptly handle all of your sales, service, and emergency needs, with the Johnson family's commitment to excellence in customer service. In the early 1980's Don's son, Jerry Johnson introduced a variety of millwork items to compliment the garage door business.
